About Francisc Lz.
I’m a Backend / Systems Engineer specializing in PHP and Laravel, with a strong focus on building reliable web applications, APIs, integrations, and production systems.
I work across the full lifecycle of an application - from backend architecture, databases, queues, caching and realtime communication to Docker-based deployments, CI/CD, Linux infrastructure, reverse proxies, monitoring and production troubleshooting.
My core expertise is Laravel and PHP, backed by practical experience with MySQL, Redis, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, WebSockets, REST APIs, Linux and modern deployment infrastructure. I also work with Vue, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS and other frontend technologies when the project requires it.
What I enjoy most is solving the problems that sit between development and production: integrating different systems, making applications reliable, debugging difficult issues, improving performance, and turning an idea into something that actually runs in the real world.
I’m self-motivated, adaptable and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. I enjoy learning, experimenting with new technologies and getting my hands dirty with both software and infrastructure.

Outside of technology, you’ll usually find me traveling, building things from wood or metal, cycling, hiking, fishing, camping, or cooking outdoors.
